Language Pairs
Find a language partner through eligible universities. Practise with someone who speaks the language you wish to learn, and help them practise a language you speak natively.
What it is
Language Pairs is an informal exchange for currently affiliated university members. It is designed for people who want friendly conversation practice, clearer fluency, and a useful reason to keep using the language they are learning.
How it works
- Sign up with an eligible university email address.
- Select the languages you speak natively and the languages you wish to learn.
- We look for a suitable reciprocal match within the configured eligibility rules.
- When a match is approved, both partners receive each other's verified email address so they can arrange practice directly.
Why take part
- Practise with someone who can offer native-level support.
- Meet people through language and culture.
- Build confidence through regular, practical conversation.
- Help someone else learn while strengthening your own skills.
Alongside classes
Language Pairs supports informal practice. It is not a replacement for language classes, teaching, or formal language support. To offer a language, you should be comfortable using it at native level.
